Personal Training Services
Consultation
It starts with the complimentary consultation.
After we have the conversation to understand your goals,
habits, and past issues, I'll use assessments to learn even more
about your body in order to help you reach your goals. These may include a before
photo, body composition, weigh-in, circumference measurements, and strength & cardio assessments.
In order to make sure you'll be training safely, I'll also be
using movement screening which helps me determine if you have any
muscle imbalances that need to be addressed prior to adding load to
the body. Does the man on the right look ready to swing a
kettlebell?
Depending on your goals, a typical program consists of three parts: strength,
cardio, and nutrition. I will provide you
with written programs and it will be up to you to commit to the programs
wholeheartedly to ensure your success. I
believe that nutrition is the most important factor in reaching success in
changing your body.
Strength Training
My brand of personal training includes a dynamic warm-up, a balanced
strength training program, and a guided stretch post workout.
This session is individually tailored to one's goals,
limitations, and training environment.
For example, a bodybuilder with 1-2 years of lifting
experience would need a four day body part split training program.
A beginner looking to add strength and lose body fat needs a
3 day full body training program.
Each of these programs should look quite different in terms
of exercise selection, equipment needed, and nutritional support.

Stretching
I am a certified Active Isolated Stretching Specialist.
This is a type of stretching that requires you to move to
your end range of motion before I assist in provided a light
pressure at your end range.
This causes reciprocal inhibition which allows for a greater stretch
which provides increased circulation to the targeted muscles and
fascia. I bring a portable
stretching table to facilitate with this type of service.

Strength Training Combined with Stretching
In some cases, it works best to combine stretching and strength training. I provide an executive service that combines a 50 minute strength training session and a 30 minute stretch session. I typically bring a portable stretching table for this service, however, some clients have their own tables. Total session time for this service is 1hr. 20min.
